CIA Review:
Over the past couple of years James R. Hannibal has become one of my favorite CIA Thriller authors. He’s written in the Spy genre, Techno Thrillers and even YA Fantasy. James has since stopped writing and is focusing on his RPG Lightraiders. Check it in the link. But you’re here for the CIA Review of Elysium Tide.
Elysium Tide reads like an updated Sherlock Holmes. Hannibals creation of characters are unique and diverse. James opens the book by taking us into the cold sterile operating room where Peter Chesterfield is at the top of his profession. He is good and he knows he is the best there is. But being the best comes at a price.
Peter is then “asked” to take a vacation in the form of conference in Hawaii. While on his “Vacation”, Chesterfield gets caught up with Detective Kealoha, a former big city detective with her own baggage. The two unlikely personalities need one another to solve a mystery that has ties to Lisa Kealoha’s past.
If you like updated version of Sherlock on BBC you’re going to love Elysium Tide.
I enjoyed Elysium Tide and would recommend you Invest In The Hardcover.
